The 1st day of December, a day to remember!

A pleasant welcome to the last month of the year 2024 with Blasert Force Troopers coming in full blast and participated in the Community Education, Training & Development (CETDev) seminars held at the San Isidro Sports Complex, San Isidro, San Fernando, Cebu.


The day started with a welcome address delivered by Hon. Eduardo B. Abella, Chairperson of Brgy. San Isidro, San Fernando, Cebu. Thereafter, drills & formation exercises were conducted by BF Col. Eliseo G. Rapana, Associate Director for Membership, Education, Training & Development (METDev) who is also a Teacher and School Head of Kangdampas Elementary School in Barili, Cebu. He is a Philippine Army Reservist and an ROTC Commandant for CTU - Dumanjug & Barili Campuses. Participants, especially the new ones, were taught the basic drills & command executions skills necessary to conduct formations typical of our opening program during events prior to the parade of colors and flag-raising ceremonies.


This was then followed by Martial Arts Training & Self-defense seminar conducted by BF Col. Osias R. Cartagena, Jr., also an Associate Director for METDev Directorate. He is also a public-school teacher, a sports development coach and a martial arts expert.


Approaching noontime, a comprehensive orientation seminar was conducted by BF Gen. Achilles "Kit" Coronel, B-Force Founder, Chairman & CEO. Kit talked about the organization's mission, vision, values & advocacies. He discussed lengthily about how the organization operates, the roles, duties and obligations of the members as well as the various activities the organization has done in the past, the current on-going activities and the future plans & directions of the organization. This was followed by an induction ceremony where 35 new members took their oath.


Past lunch, the group had a session with PDEA on Drug Abuse Education Lecture conducted by Intelligence Officer 1, Agent Mary Jane Q. Sagmon. This was followed by a handgun handling techniques and safety rules demonstrated by BF Col. Reynald F. Baylon, an Associate Director for Finance Directorate who is also an engineer, civic leader, entrepreneur, an avid gun-shooting enthusiast and an active member of the Philippine Gun Club.


The event was closed by the Founder/Chairman thanking all the participants and encouraging them to continue doing whatever the organization can contribute for the betterment of our communities as the group continues to embrace humanity globally.
